To best use cut-fill color mapping, insert an original ground surface for all sites. When the original ground surface is accurately integrated and the task is created with an active design surface, the work area is highlighted in color before excavation. This overview gives a clear indication of cut and fill areas to help plan and satisfactorily do the work.
To make the setup process easy, each site is preconfigured with a set of default color maps and default set of sequence types.
