A site must be active to do work. An active site can be:
- A local site made in 3D-MC to import the survey or project files
- A connection to an existing online Sitelink3D v2 site
- An offline Sitelink3D v2 site imported from USB.
A site connection supplies the design objects and the applicable context to 3D-MC for machine control.
