General precautions

Read and become familiar with the machine manufacturer’s operator’s manual, including safety information, before you install or use Topcon components.
Use extreme caution on the job site.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Working around heavy construction equipment can be dangerous.
DO NOT attach Topcon brackets, cables, or hose connections while the machine is running.
DO NOT let any Topcon components limit the visibility of the operator.
Use cable ties to safely install hoses and cables away from possible wear or pinch points.
Wear eye protection when welding, cutting, or grinding on the machine.
Protect yourself at all times, and wear protective clothing when working on or near hydraulic lines. Hydraulic lines can be under extreme pressure, even when the machine is turned off.
