Usage restrictions
Warning:
You must never use Topcon products in dangerous environments. You can use Topcon products in rain or snow for a limited period of time.
Warning:
Do not tamper with this Topcon product. Do not let non-factory approved technicians do work on this Topcon product. Do not do the procedures that follow, or the warranty will be voided:
- Open the Topcon product and change internal components
- Cause a short circuit.
Warning: To comply with RF exposure requirements, keep a minimum of 7.87 in. (20 cm) between the user and the receiver when Bluetooth/WiFi technology is in operation.
Caution:
You must never use this Topcon product when:
- You do not thoroughly understand the Operator’s Manual and Quick Reference Guide
- The safety systems are disabled or this Topcon product was changed
- There are unauthorized accessories
- There are no proper safeguards at the job site
- It is contrary to applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
Caution: Do not tamper with the receiver. If end users or non-factory authorized technicians tamper the receiver, voids the warranty.
- Do not attempt to open the receiver and modify any of the internal components
- Do not charge the battery in conditions different than specified
- Do not short circuit the battery.
Caution: If this product was dropped, changed, transported, shipped without proper packaging, or otherwise treated without care, erroneous measurements can occur. The owner must periodically test this product to make sure that it makes accurate measurements. Immediately tell Topcon if this product does not operate correctly.
