The GNSS receiver's internal Wi-Fi module enables wireless connection for configuration, firmware updates, and memory access without a cable. It supports access point and client modes.
The HiPer XR GNSS receiver has an internal Wi-Fi module that lets it connect to a field controller, computer, smart device (access point mode), or to a wireless network (client mode). You can use Wi-Fi to connect to the receiver to get access to the internal memory, configure, and update the receiver firmware. A cable connection to the receiver is not necessary.
To connect to the receiver through Wi-Fi:
- Find the wireless network connection access point SSID for the receiver with the Wi-Fi network connection application on your PC, field controller, or smart device.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:The label is HiPer XR-AP-XXXX-XXXXX, in which XXXX-XXXXXX is the serial number of the receiver.
- Select this Wi-Fi access point SSID, then select Connect.
- Enter the default Wi-Fi access point password, which is the serial number of the receiver.
- Open a web browser, then enter http://192.168.4.1/ in the URL field.
- Enter the default user name and password:ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- User name: admin
- Password: admin
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:Note: You can select to change the Wi-Fi access point password. After you change the password, it is necessary to select Apply and do a power cycle of the receiver.Note: If the password is lost, reset the receiver to factory defaults.After a successful login, the web UI shows a dashboard with general information about the receiver in real-time. Settings configuration is enabled.
