Measurement guidelines

The measurements and calibration of the MC-X systems are based on the relationship of system components, machine lengths, and pivot points with respect to a planar surface.

The cutting edge on the blade must be parallel or the same distance from the planar surface. The lowest point of the blade cutting edge must touch the planar surface. New blades and blades that are not worn equally will level onto the planar surface. Only the minimum worn part of the cutting edge of blades that are not worn equally will touch the planar surface.
