| Ground | Connected electrically to the machine’s metal frame or chassis. It operates as the electrical return path. Do not connect directly to the battery negative terminal. |
| Ignition Input | Power is set to on or off by the ignition or key switch. |
| Switched Power | Active only when the operator starts the ignition or turns the key switch of the machine. This can be seen as an ignition switched power source. |
| Unswitched Power | Direct connection to machine battery positive terminal. It stays active when the ignition or key switch is off. |
Note:
To prevent risk of hardware failure, do not connect any Topcon component directly to the battery negative terminal. You must not bypass the battery isolation switch with a direct connection to the battery positive and negative terminals.
