Blade wear

Blade wear depends on the material being handled and can be compensated for within 3D-MC by measuring then inputting the right- and left blade slant lengths.

The site conditions influence how often blade wear should be measured and updated in 3D-MC.

Select ControlBlade Wear.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The Blade Wear screen will appear. shows.
Measure the distance from the cutting edge bolt to the cutting edge of the blade on the right side.
Measure the distance from the cutting edge bolt to the cutting edge of the blade on the left side.
Enter the measurement for the right side wear in the Slant R(1) field.
Enter the measurement for the left side wear in the Slant L(2) field.
Select OK to return to the main screen.
