- Total work range of 14 in., to 55 in. (35.56 cm to 139.7 cm) with a total of 41 in. (104.14 cm) of adjustment.
- The sonic tracker can be set over a string line on one pass, then match grade on the next pass with the tracker in position.
- The task selects the tracker position.
| String line reference | Keep the tracker approximately 2 ft. (60.96 cm) above the string and give the operator approximately 6 in. (15.24 cm) of lateral movement above the string. |
| Curb reference | Lower the tracker to keep it over the lip of the curb and avoid the tracker from “seeing” the top, or face of the curb. |
| Grade reference | Keep the size of the sonic cone or footprint in mind. For example, at 2 ft. (60.96 cm), the cone diameter is approximately 6 in. (15.24 cm). |
