Machine control applications use masts to put either the prism or the GNSS receiver in position above or clear of the cab and isolated from shock and vibrations.
You can frequently install or remove the A7 prism or GR-i3/GR-i3F sensors on the mast.
- Configure the vibration post with hardware to make sure that the prism or GR-i3/GR-i3F sensors are attached in the same location each time.
- Make sure that the mast is vertical on the blade when the machine is on level ground.
- Install the indexing clamp (P/N 1033333-01) so the elevation sensor is consistently at the same height and orientation.
