Sensor calibration

Calibration comes from the relationship of system components, dozer lengths, and pivot points with respect to a planar surface shown in yellow.
The cutting edge bolts on the blade must be parallel or the same distance from the planar surface. The lowest point of the cutting edge must touch the planar surface.
New, unworn blades touch the planar surface, but the cutting edge of unevenly worn blades will not fully touch the planar surface. For unevenly worn blades, only the least worn part of the cutting edge touches the planar surface.
The cutting-edge bolts on the blade must be parallel or the same distance from the planar surface. The lowest point of the cutting-edge must touch the planar surface.
It is necessary to complete another system calibration after any change to machine measurements.
