- Set up the laser transmitter over a known point.
- Install the laser receiver on the stick of the excavator.
- When the laser receiver is in the path of the transmitted laser beam, select Zero to Laser to set the elevation to zero.
ResultAll elevations are now known within the reach of the excavator.
Note: If the excavator moves to another location, move the stick to put the laser receiver in the transmitted laser beam. The system sets the new bucket elevation, which eliminates elevation errors.
