As-built Data | As-built data records grid cell activity collected by as-built enabled 3D-MC systems. |
As-Built Live | As-Built Live is a cloud-based microservice that continuously monitors and updates the as-built data record and renders color maps that can be displayed in real-time in both 3D-MC and the Sitelink web portal. |
Cell Size | Cell size specifies the dimensions of the individual grid cells (10cm; 20cm;40cm), which in turn equates to the density of the stored data points. Grid cell size is specified in the sequence type and can significantly affect the performance of color map rendering and as-built reporting, particularly for large areas. |
Color Maps | to show the relationship between the current as-built data and the design. Each site has default Color Maps. The Color Maps can be modified. New Color Maps can be added and modified as needed for as-built data. |
Grid Cells | Grid cells are 2D squares. Like chessboards or floor tiles, they form a dynamic network covering the entire Site. |
Height Map Report | A downloadable file with as-built surface data from a specific date and time. It can be generated in XYZ (text) or PLY (point cloud) formats. |
Masking Region | A region used to filter as-built data. Data is trimmed to the limits of the region. |
Reference Surface | Cut/Fill Color Map of a design surface in the Task's Design Set. |
Sequence | A sequence is a reference ID that is attached to all as-built data. It is used as a filter. Sequences are linked to a Sequence Type and define repetitive parts of a task that are typically performed in order (example: Lift 1, Lift 2, Lift 3). Sequences are managed in 3D-MC. A Sequence must be selected in 3D-MC to collect as-built data. |
Sequence Type | Sequence types define the rules to record and show the as-built data collected for a Sequence. You manage sequence types in the Metadata Manager. |
There are two sequence types:
| Sequence type | Description |
|---|---|
| Level | A Level sequence type is height-based (elevation) and commonly used for earthworks and compaction Tasks. Multiple-level sequences can be active simultaneously. |
| Shift | A Shift sequence type is time-based and commonly used for tasks such as snow grooming. Only one Shift sequence can be active at a time. |
