Use Active Control to automate excavation tasks, improve precision, and enforce boundary limits to prevent safety risks and equipment damage. This makes operations with defined height, depth, and swing constraints efficient.
Caution:
Incorrect operation of Active Control can have an unwanted effect on the safety of the driver and others. It can also cause damage to the excavator.
Note: Active Control is the Volvo term for automatic functions. Activate Active Control to engage Volvo's automatic options and apply them in 3D-MC.
Note: When Active Control is activated, it is not possible to dig below the design surface.
