Fault Isolation
3D-MC
No Machine Configuration
The 3D-MC machine file was not selected.
Select or create the Machine. In 3D-MC select Main menuControlMachine Setup.
Body Sensor Error
The MC-X1 cannot connect with the selected Body IMU sensor.
Make sure that the Sensor ID was selected in the Machine wizard for the Body IMU. In 3D-MC, select Main menuControlMachine Setup.
Blade Sensor Error
MC-X1 cannot connect to the selected Body IMU sensor.
Make sure that the Sensor ID was selected in the Machine wizard for the Blade IMU. In 3D-MC, select Menu > Control > Machine Setup.
Elevation Reference
Out of Design
The elevation reference POI is out of the current design surface. The elevation reference is not correct.
  1. Make sure that the implement is fully out of the active design surface.
    1. Move the machine in the selected active surface.
    2. Incorrect localization. See also Fault isolation for “No GPS Localization” message.
  2. Make sure that the active surface is correct.
    1. Select the active surface that is applicable for the location.
    2. Incorrect project file loaded.
  3. The machine configuration is correct.
    1. Do a check for the correct bucket geometry in the Attachment dialog.
    2. If the bucket position continues to be incorrect, a second calibration of the Machine can be necessary.
No Active Surface
There is no active surface selected. The elevation reference is not correct.
  1. Make sure that the active surface is correct.
    1. Select the active surface that is applicable for the location.
    2. Do a check of the project file.
  2. Load the correct project file.
No Project Loaded
A loaded project file is necessary in 3D-MC.
Authorization
No Valid License
OR
Machine Control not Enabled
The software license is not correct. This can lock some of the functions.
The 3D-MC license is not installed.
  1. If the machine has not had a license, speak with your dealer for license information.
  2. Do the license installation process again.
  3. Make sure that the license is installed on the expected device.
GPS Status
No Site Localization
When no control point is used for “localization,” then the status is “No GPS Localization.”
No control points in the project file.
  1. Add the necessary control points to the project file or import them from another project file.
  2. Select a predefined projection in the Coord. System dialog.
No control points enabled for operation in localization in the project file.
Edit the control point and enable Use for horizontal localization and User for vertical localization.
GNSS Sensor Offline
MC-X1 cannot connect with the selected sensor, the Main or Aux GNSS Sensor.
  1. Do a check of the CAN connector into Main GNSS Sensor and its cables.
  2. Do a check of the CAN connector into Aux GNSS Sensor and its cables.
  3. Do a check that the CAN termination is correct. Usually, an external CAN termination is used).
Waiting for Satellites
No satellites are currently seen by GNSS Sensor.
  1. Wait a maximum of 5 minutes to track the satellites.
  2. Do a check that there is a clear line of sight to the sky for the Main and Aux GNSS.
  3. Do a check of which satellite counts are shown in GNSS Info screen. GNSS may not have the necessary option enabled to find the satellites.
Waiting for Corrections
GNSS RTK data is not received.
  1. Do a check of the GNSS radio configuration. Select Main menuToolsConfigure Radios.
  2. If GNSS RTK is received via radio signal, do a check that the RTK base has power on and is set up correctly.
  3. If GNSS RTK is received from the Internet, do a check for Internet access. For example, * exit 3D-MC *start a web browser to see a website.
Initializing
GNSS is starting.
This is a usual error when the GNSS starts. If the error shows for more than 5 minutes, speak with the support staff.
Low Precision
The selected current GNSS RMS is more than than that in 3D-MC settings.
  1. Edit the GNSS Precision values.
  2. Select Main menuControl Machine Edit GNSS Precisions
  3. Make sure that the localization is correct.
  4. Make sure that the number of GNSS satellites seen by the GNSS sensor is sufficient.
