The bench test helps make sure that your installation goes smoothly. It also keeps the time that a machine is away from the work site to a minimum.
- Do the bench test before the installation. If it is possible, do the bench test with sufficient time to replace the components that are damaged, or that are not available.
- Make sure that each component has the correct version and the necessary software/firmware.
- Update those as necessary during the bench test. This saves installation time because that is not necessary in the field. This also makes sure that the components operate before installation.
- Find the system configuration for your installation.
- Use the instructions and illustrations to connect the electrical components and cables for the bench test.
- After component connection, connect to the power with a 12 VDC battery.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:Note:

- Generic MC-X1 Breakout A Cable
- Generic MC-X1 Breakout B Cable
- The MC-X1 Programming Cable (P/N 1017799-01) is an alternative with the bench setup.
