3D-MC supplies cloud backup storage to devices that connect to Sitelink sites.
3D-MC automatically backs up data saved on the Device Data tab of the Surfaces, Points, and Layers dialogs to the Sitelink cloud. This lets site managers see and download data through the Sitelink web portal.
Device data backup has several benefits:
- It is simple – data that automatically synchronize to the cloud hourly can be synchronized more frequently on-demand
- It is portable – data are available on any machine to which the device connects
- It is accessible – site managers can see and/or download all synchronized device data through the Sitelink web portal.
