The excavator border is used to detect collisions with polygons.
The proximity value is not used and has no effect.
Only 2D mode can be used for closed lines. Surface avoidance zones must be used if an elevation is necessary for an avoidance area.
Polygons can vary in elevation. Triangulation to a surface is necessary to calculate an elevation collision. A surface mode can be an alternative since it is triangulated.
Position A causes a warning to show.
Position B does not cause a warning to show. The proximity of the surface field has no effect.
