- Move the dozer to a steep slope to calibrate the Body Heading.
- Before you move the dozer, verify that the measurements were entered into the system correctly and calibrations are accurate.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:Note: The ideal slope is 4:1. The measurement precision increases with the increase in slope.Accidentally transposed measurement values cause incorrect calibrations.Examples:
- C-Frame IMU measurements accidentally entered into Body IMU Measurements screen
- An Above value entered as the Behind value
- Data for a calibration step was not entered accurately
- System did not capture data correctly
Note: In any of these examples, the calibrations that have been performed must be cleared and repeated. - Do not start the Body Heading Calibration process until you verify that the preceding calibration processes are accurate.
